How can you trust me if you don’t know me yet? That’s exactly why I decided to write this blog post. It’s my opportunity to share the story behind my photography, my life, my family, and, most importantly, why I do what I do. This isn’t just about taking photos—it’s about creating meaningful, empowering experiences for the women I work with.
So, let’s get to know me a little better.
I was born and raised in the heart of Germany, where my dream of becoming a photographer began. As a teenager, I realized that I could be and do anything I set my mind to, even though the path wasn’t clear. I always knew I wanted to be a photographer, but opportunities were limited. I faced setbacks, like failing my art exam (yes, even as an aspiring photographer!), but I didn’t let that stop me. Instead, I forged my path by studying Media Design, and in 2012, I graduated and fully embraced my photography journey.
With a camera in hand, I began capturing moments, not just for myself but for others—moments that would forever change their perception of who they are. From the start, I knew my photography would not just be about photos but about creating an experience that empowers women and helps them reconnect with their inner strength.
In 2022, my family and I made a bold move from Germany to Canada. We settled in a small city, ready to take on the challenges of adjusting to a new culture, language, and life. While my husband and daughter speak French, English, and German, my son and I are still working on mastering French.
Though the transition hasn’t been easy, we’re embracing every part of our new adventure. We’ve faced challenges—getting our work permits, navigating bureaucracy, and finding our way in a new country—but these struggles have only strengthened our resolve. Canada has become our home, and it’s where I will continue to live my dream of empowering women through photography.
One of my biggest dreams is to one day open my own photography studio here in Canada. Right now, I work from my cozy home studio, but I envision a larger, dedicated space where I can create a personalized photography experience for women. I want a space where every woman who walks through the door feels like the most important person in the world—a space where they can see themselves in a new light and feel confident, strong, and beautiful.
Through photography, I aim to celebrate women’s uniqueness and strength, capturing moments that remind them of their power. With a larger studio, I will be able to serve even more women, offering them a safe and empowering space to embrace their authenticity.
At the heart of my work is a deep desire to empower women. Every woman has a unique strength and beauty that deserves to be celebrated and cherished. I capture these qualities in my portraits, whether through a boudoir session, lifestyle shoot, or empowering portrait. Each image is a testament to the woman in front of the camera—her strength, her resilience, and her beauty.
Photography, for me, is more than just creating beautiful images—it’s about helping women see themselves as they truly are. I want them to feel confident in their own skin, to recognize their value, and to embrace the beauty they often overlook. My mission is to show every woman that she is capable of far more than she realizes and to help her celebrate her individuality in a world that often tells women to conform.
As I look through my lens, I see more than just a subject. I see a woman reclaiming her autonomy and her power. I see someone embracing her authenticity and standing tall in her own story. And that’s why I do what I do.
